Transhome Group Pty Ltd Returns Policy
If returning an item
- Did you purchase the item you are returning online, via the app, or in-store?
a. Purchased online or in-app
- Return online: This can be done through our website link at www.transhome.app/returns.
- We’ll collect the item within 2-5 days. Items must be unused, packed in their original packaging with all accessories and documentation prior to collection.
- Refunds or replacements can take between 7-14 days.
- All refunds will be issued via the same payment method used for the purchase.
What items can you return and when?
- General Items, Pantry
If your purchase is incorrect, you can log a return within 7 days, and we will either replace the item or process a refund.
If you decide to return an item after 7 days, a collection fee may apply.
Damaged or incorrect items at the point of delivery
Log your return online. Once collected, the item will undergo an assessment, and the correct item will be dispatched.
Promotional, free, or bundled items that were part of a purchase must also be returned.
You cannot claim a return if any defects with the items were caused by:
- Lightning or power surges
- Misuse or abuse of the goods
- Use for a purpose other than that for which the item was manufactured
- Contrary use to the instruction manuals
- Accidental damage
Items that you cannot return:
- Items protected by copyright law (Software, Games, CDs, etc.). If there is a manufacturing defect, you can log a return provided they are still sealed and in resellable condition.
- Custom orders will only be replaced if defective. Please ensure measurements and specifications of custom-made items are correct when ordering, as custom-made orders cannot be refunded or exchanged if incorrect sizes were provided.
- Perishable items.
- Goods sold as red ticket items (clearance items), damaged, defective, used, or repaired, where Transhome disclosed these facts before purchase.
- Swimwear, underwear, shavers, toothbrushes, and other health, beauty, and personal care items.
- Books.
- Cigarettes.
- Mattresses and mattress protectors.
Refunds
Once Transhome has assessed a returned item and approved it for a refund, you will receive your money back in the same manner in which you made your purchase:
- Credit note
- Electronic transfer directly into your account
- Cash (if the original payment was made in cash)
- Credit card (by reversal back to your credit card, subject to banking delays)
- Cheque – within one week of request and only once your original cheque has cleared
- Gift card
Transhome will refund a purchase for the exact amount paid, less the following:
- Credit note
- Any delivery costs already incurred by Transhome
- Any restocking fee for special orders
